The final step in the process of obtaining orthotics is to properly fit the insoles to your current footwear.  We ask that you bring with you to your pick-up appointment a few pairs of commonly worn shoes so that our Pedorthist can shape your orthotics, allowing them to be interchangeable from one shoe to the next. The way your orthotic fits inside of your shoe is just as important as the orthotic itself.  Obtaining a correct shoe to orthotic interface will ensure that your orthotics are able to work to the best of their ability.

Our Pedorthist will again assess your gait to ensure that the orthotics are effectively addressing your primary concerns.  If need be, minor adjustments may be made at this time to ensure that you are comfortable.  There is a “break-in period” with any new orthotic; our Pedorthist will discuss how to properly adjust to your orthotics at the time of pick-up.
